Press release on the illegal status of PAI or PaiPay application

On 24 March 2026, National Bank of Cambodia issued a press release on the illegal status of PAI or PaiPay application.

The release clarified that PAI or PaiPay is not a licensed mobile payment service under the National Bank of Cambodia and warned the public about potential online fraud risks, while authorities are taking measures to investigate and suppress the illegal activities.
